Basically hat i've been saying for the past year+

 

 

Bodycount's take:

 

-Nintendo is genius for going hybrid + leveraging their control of the handheld market. Nintendo has found a way around competing with sony and still is able to deliver AAA exclusives to their fans. they also have an entire market to themselves now.

 

-MS has been completely destroyed by the PS4 and will not be able to recover. they're weaselling out of the console space and going into a digital market that they  probably won't find success in because they still lack the content to do so.

 

-Sony stays traditional and serves up a PS5 much in line with what we've come to expect from a console upgrade over the last 30 years. Sony wins by overwhelming their competition with the creation top class in-house software that can't be matched.

 

PS5 has won next gen already because they're literally going in with 0 competition

It's true. MS wants out of the console market as fast as possible and wants XCloud to lead asap.

Also "exclusives" coming to PC is going to hurt the brand, doubly so if Switch is in the cards. The lack of exclusives is not lost on gamers, even if they are not on PS5 directly.
