Hot Sauce 2,727
Oof, I think I've moved past the PSVR and was looking forward to this being my gateway into PC VR, but not at $1000 for the whole kit. Jesus christ, Valve.

jehurey 3,227
They kinda need to show Half Life 3 in order to direct attention away from the price.

-GD-X★ 7,729
epic will probably release a better one for $
jehurey 3,227
I do like their design for handling audio, they have speakers that are meant to be positioned like an inch away from your ear, but they don't enclose your ear. And according to people who have tested it, it still maintains good bass and can actually get really loud. I hate over the ear headphones, and I hate earbuds. Just can't play games for long periods of time using either method.
Remij 4,670
Who the fuck do they think they are? Even if Half Life was exclusive to it (it wont be) lol
DynamiteCop 2,085
Sounds about right given what it is and all the improvements and advantages.
jehurey 3,227
I hope that their tech for finger detection matches with Sony's patented tech for their VR controllers and potential for finger detection. I feel like that may be the most important thing they need to standardize in order to start making better VR games from third-parties. And Oculus, if they are making an Oculus 2, would be wise to make their controllers have the same concepts line up with what Valve and Sony is doing.
Casual 726
750 bucks to play glorified tech demos lmao
eastside49er 17
I'll wait for next gen XBOX and PS to get into VR. No doubt it will be wireless by then.
