I don't think they are special.  The same can be said for any architecture.  Vulkan has had way more optimizations for AMDs hardware.  If you look DX11 on the 2080ti it performs much better than Vulka

I'm sure Navi will be fine. People were upset about Bonaire when PS4 was launching and look how that all turned out.   Non-sense for sure. He definitely acts like Microsoft is the best in

Lynn wants his OS to function how Sony wants it to, not whats better for him. It will always be the best because its best for Sony.   CUCK

This isn't Sony's Navi. Anaconda and Lockhart are going to be disasters if this is true. :lawl:

Oh so it went from Navi was developed in partnership with Sony to now "this isn't Sony's Navi"...

Shut up idiot :lawl:

This is the desktop variant, but I don't expect the console variants to fare much better. Xbox is dead. :D

What in the fuck are you talking about? Even if this is the desktop variant it seems to be an architectural problem which would afflict the entire line..

We know Sony is using Navi so apparently they're fucked, we however don't know what Microsoft is using.

Running back to "Arcturus" now? A Hopes & Dreams non-existent architecture. :hest:  Microsoft is most definitely using Navi, and it's probably more off-the-shelf than Sony's version. DEAD

Sony's GPU in the Pro is off the shelf, it's a neutered RX 480. The GPU in the X doesn't even have a real world counterpart and it's got a bunch of customized shit done to it and you expect that Microsoft is the one which will be using off the shelf when the same team that built the X is designing their next-gen console?

The GPU in the X doesn't have a real world counterpart... I guess the RX 580 isn't a real world GPU. :mj:

Pro

Transistors: 5,700 million

The only difference between the Pro and 480 is ROP's.

The only thing the X shares in common with the RX 580 is ROP's, it has no real world counterpart. It's a from the ground up GPU built specifically for that system.

It took MS three tries to get the hardware right this gen.... and by the time the X came around it was too late to save Xbox1 :rofls:

Ugh no... The S is just an HDR/4K supported revision of the original system and the X is mid-gen refresh. The only difference between Sony's hardware path and Microsoft's is they didn't add 4K support to the Slim. They've both released three consoles.

Alright, so it's not 1:1, but it's still a hopped up Polaris GPU which is either based on the RX 480 or the 580.  Doesn't even really matter. The most significant change to Xbox One X is that they looked at Sony's base PS4 solution and said, "fuck, we got out engineered like a mother fucker." So bad they completely dropped Kinect, eSRAM and DDR3... a stupid move to begin with.

Either way, desktop Navi isn't looking too hot based on these rumors. Comparing the Pro to the next PlayStation 5 is just grasping for straws. PS4 Pro served as a step towards 4K support/output... not to try to sweep base PS4 under the rug like Microsoft wishes they could do with the original Xbox One and S.

Sony got it right with base PS4 out the gate.

Base XB1 was a huge misstep by MS.... are you denying this? :mjpls:
