You don't think Yang will beat Trump?

Recommended Posts

The democrats that should actually be able to counter Trump and put his reelection at risk will be drown out by the Socialist leftists with all the money and that are too insane to actually get elected. This will effectually ensure that Trump sees a second term, Yang, Tulsi etc, they don't stand a chance.

You might've forgotten, but in the aughts, with the rise of centrist candidates - you know, the ones that claimed they could build a coalition, had the establishment backing and sat center of left/right depending on their party affiliation (George W, Al Gore, John Kerry, John McCain); there was a void forming. Thus came the rise of another type of Presidential candidate: The publicity candidate.

The publicity candidate knew they couldn't gather enough popular/delegate support, nor any substantial backing from their Party Establishment; but they could do something. That something was free airtime, money to spend on travel, the ability to sell & autograph their books. Plus, whenever they did eventually back out of the primary they could then go on speaking tours touting their experience as a Presidential Candidate.

- Mike Huckabee did this, complete with Chuck Norris ads, while memes were still in their nascent days; although even the Chuck Norris meme was dated by this point.

- Hermain Cain did this as well: Ran a campaign with a weird ad where his chief of staff was slowly smoking a cigarette. His tax plan was from Sim City, and his concession speech was the theme song from Pokemon.

The point is we still have those types of candidates running now: One's without a chance, but can parlay that Presidential run into funds, handshakes, future & current book deals, not to mention those five to six figure speaking engagements. Andrew is one of those candidates, he lacks both the grassroots movement (65K donors out of a population of 340+ Million people is not the millions of people Bernie Sanders has for example already volunteering across states in the US).

And while Mr. Yang has his Yang Gang; he lacks any acknowledgement from the party establishment & MSM. At least in the case of the aforementioned Bernie Sanders & Tulsi Gabbard and their respective campaigns, they're being actively smeared and belittled by the Mainstream news sites.

It's not good news if they don't even bring you up on MSNBC, or CNN - that means you don't register enough in Rasmussen/Politico polls for the Democratic establishment to even have to attack you.

Also on a hilarious side note: Jeb Bush now holds the record for most amount of money spent per delegate in a primary. He got a total of 4 delegates, and with his total funds raised it amounted to 53 Million per delegate... :| :D

Yuck

Amen.

I don't support him, but it just goes to show how ridiculous the notion that leftist candidates are keeping Yang and Gabbard out of the race is.

They claim to be progressive yet try to push the progressives out

To be fair you were pretty sure about Hilary and backed her to the max. So calling anything this soon is premature, and thats putting it lightly.

Andrew Yang's polling numbers went from 1% to 2% overnight. That's an increase of 100%, or in layman's terms, doubled.

If we apply this increase on a day-by-day basis, we get the following:

May 30th: 2%

May 31st: 4%

June 1st: 8%

June 2nd: 16%

June 3rd: 32%

June 4th: 64%

June 5th: 128%

From this we can see that Yang will take a slight lead on June 3rd over the current leader, Biden at 31%, at 32%. On June 4th Yang will extend that lead into a commanding one at 64%. By the end of next week people will be asked to have their votes counted twice in support of Yang and Yang will exceed 100% of the polling.

YANG GANG IS HERE

2% already ahead of Cory Booker America's favorite superhero Mayor. Wait till he runs circles around these boring ass partisan politicians in the debates.

He's gonna do the same shit Trump did to the Republican candidates but more politely.

Sorry, since that poll there's been a couple others that have Yang back to 1% and behind Booker at 3%. Looks like it was an outlier. :downs:

Bernie and Buttigieg FTW.

I would love to see Trump vs Sanders and Mike Pence vs Pete Buttigieg at the debates next year.

Trump would get absolutely destroyed.  Hilary made him look stupid but she tried too hard to look presidential. She should have taken a page from Obama who isn't afraid to make someone look stupid.   Bernie would just go for the jugular and rip him apart.  I hope Trump has a coronary.  Fuck him and fuck his bitch ass followers.
