Funny how the tone has changed with all the lemmings at RetardEra. :D They were so confident.

I was pretty confident too.

MS is like AMD at this point... they need their Ryzen moment to show they can actually hang with Sony.  They've got a great service in Gamepass.. and that is what's bringing all their goodwill... but as for games.. this E3 did nothing to change their circumstance regarding Sony and AAA games.

You want to believe they're going to do it... but you usually end up disappointed and waiting for the next time... :shake:

On the bright side at least Microsoft confirmed some form of hardware based ray-tracing support. Even though it's not confirmed we can probably assume Sony's version will be hardware based as well which should establish ray-tracing in games from here on out... whether that be for audio, reflections or some other application.

Yep.  That's the best thing about this announcement.  Ray Tracing games are coming :glad:

Lol we aren't getting ray tracing next gen with a vega64 level GPU. That ray traced audio demo you linked though was amazing.

At best we'll get some super faked RT. The Crytek demo ran a 1080p apparently.
