Gears 4 campaign was like 5 hours. They can't do campaign. It probably had a very small budget and will suck.

I hope not, but it is incredibly strange that you don't even show a polished vertical slice of a cinematic campaign moment. It's like the one staple MS franchise that has them and can be showcased superbly at E3, sort of how ND does with Uncharted. 

 

The problem for Gears now is that in the past they use to easily be the best 3rd person cover shooter with minimal effort. That isn't the case anymore. They're playing catch up to The Division 2 atm at least.

I'm so glad this was easily one of the biggest disappointments of the show! This is getting such a huge backlash, I can't believe they messed up this badly. For sure a lot of people will skip the game now.

Hell they showed off Gears Judgement, specifically because they had some new tech visuals.

and they've released little info to preempt MS' next gen news (making the things MS talked about today sound unimpressive as we have heard them already) and also the biggest major first party blow out in Death Stranding, that included a very surprising 2019 release date. 

 

They've played this extremely well.
