Only Ninja Theory and Obsidian are capable of AAA level productions, the other studios will take a decade to even potentially scale to an AAA game. It took Sony Bend 8 years to release an AAA budget games, that's how long it tookt them to scale to 200 people. Sony is just better off growing studios like Guerilla into two AAA game studio teams, same thing Nintendo did with the Xenoblade developers Monolithsoft. Half of the studios MS bought literally couldn't find a publisher and relied on Kickstarters of 4 million dollars. And half of them are still finishing off multiplat games.
