I never thought it was related to it, more or less just being what MM was to OoT.. as in a darker game that came off the tail of said game. Glad to hear it's darker than even MM. This could legit be the best Zelda game ever created. If it has a mixture of the open world and actual large dungeons... it's fucking over. Jesus christ Nintendo. Animal Crossing date, Banjo in SSB and then the complete surprise of BOTW2 (direct sequel).
