They're not releasing it everywhere because of money, it clearly states that for the deal to be forged the developer obligations to backers who funded the game had to be met. Microsoft not honoring that would A. get them sued,  and B. be a gigantic PR nightmare which is the last thing they need.

I already told you of EGS taking a kickstarter game and telling them that they couldn't buy it on steam.

 

So your "A" excuse doesn't fly

 

As for your "B" excuse.............they just teased their own customers, their own LOYAL customers, an exclusive, and they now found out that it isn't.

 

They just sold you a $500 console 18 months ago.......and held back the last-gen port of Halo Infinite until the new console they want you to buy 18 months from now.

 

Your theory about "avoiding PR nightmares" doesn't really seem to make sense given their recent embarrassments.

 

I love it when Dynocrap commits to EVEN WORSE arguments that he has a lesser chance of winning. LOL

No one thought it was exclusive because it was never intended to be. You're being really stupid about this. 

 

You're literally arguing with the developer of the game here who only let Microsoft aquire them with stipulations of this games release and backer obligation.

 

They even go on to state that after this game it's just Xbox, GamePass and PC.
