Im saying that most of Switchs games are old ports. And it misses all of the new 3rd party games. Making it the weakest console to own, especially for fakes like you that wont even play those exclusive games.

Except you didn't say that.

You said that switch owners would rather play OLD multiplats than their exclusive games..........and because of that it doesn't stand alone.

Which Switch games sell the most???????????????

Exclusive games, so it definitely appears that its "standing alone".

In fact a console that has ZERO exclusives and 100% ports is the console that cannot stand alone.  That's basically irrefutable logic.

Checked the list to make sure that Untitled Goose Game was on there... Glad it wasn't missed.

If it's the sole platform you own then those 'exclusives' would in fact be exclusive as there is no outside influence or intervention so it would be no different than owning just a Switch in that regard. The differentiator though would be the fact that you would get all AAA games plus considerably better performative systems to enjoy them on.

As a singularity the Switch is the weakest console platform you could own.

Except we're using jonb's logic.

He is saying that Switch owners................supposedly.........leaning on just the third-party multiplats is what MAKES IT "not stand alone" and the "weakest"

Don't think so?????????/ Let's read his post again.

Ok ? Guarantee you'll play more 3rd party games not on switch this year than switch exclusives.

And I even ask for clarification:

I know, right................what is he trying to argue at that point?:yeshrug:

And then makes that clarification:

My argument is that Switch is the weakest console to own standalone. Id be surprised if you played 1 of those games.

So he says that avoiding exclusives and running to multiplat ports is a sign of a weak console.

Switch owners clearly buy the exclusives the most............and its not even close, the sales of exclusives greatly exceeds the third-party ports.

There it is.

exclusive Nintendo games. Not exclusive 3rd party games.

Nobody owns a Ditch as a main platform unless you are a child, Nintendo dick suckers, or you, a non gamer.

Why do you post here when you don't play games?

There it is.

They do because it's the only real platform viability, it has no contention from similar caliber AAA games to eat its lunch. Where do you think they're getting those AAA experiences? Outside of the Switch with other systems.

PlayStation doesn't have this problem and can self-sustain a player with everything they need, Xbox doesn't have this problem and can self-sustain a player with everything they need.

Nintendo is the only one with this problem, that's why it's referred to as a "side system".

How can there be exclusive 3rd party games. That doesn't even make sense?

You need to show proof that Switch owners are predominantly owners of other platforms in order to prove that point.

Which, we both know, you don't have.

No, not really.

Even though Switch was selling so many copies of Smash Bros, Mario Kart DX, Zelda BOTW..........they were still selling MORE COPIES of Mortal Komat 11 on Switch..............than MK11 was selling on Xbox.

So its getting to the point where the Switch has such a large userbase.........correction: a large ACTIVE userbase..........that the first-party sells really well, but the third-party is still selling more than on other platforms.

So, the only way your theory works is if you could prove that the majority of Switch owners are also PS4 owners. But if that were the case, MK11 sales for Switch would have gone as high as they did.

Nope, I won that. Easily.

What are you currently playing?

Yeah seems like you abandoned it, because you're now trying to change the subject.

Thanks for confirming. Let me know when you think you can come back to your argument.

No they weren't, the game launched 3 weeks after the Xbox/PS4 release and those numbers were not hedged against their first week performance but rather the third week performance.

You kind of forgot that detail, also the Switch's first week was like 1/4 of what it sold on Xbox One in its first week.

Yes they were selling higher.

And yes they STILL CONTINUE to sell higher.

You can't that excuse anymore considering the game has been out for multiple weeks, AND the Switch console even got some bad press.

Let's take a look:

Switch version of MK11 is currently #188 highest selling game on Amazon

XBO version of MK11 is currently #219 highest selling game on Amazon.

Welp...........there goes that excuse.

Oh we're back to Amazon lol... Give me a break with this fallback bullshit.  I know exactly where you got what you're saying and it was from the UK charts.

Switch sold like 2,500 its first week and 10,000 on Xbox in its first week. You idiots thought what it sold on Switch was being compared to what it sold on Xbox in its first week, no such luck.

Nope........you don't have any evidence to the contrary.

In fact, it would make sense that the Switch had a low first week...........nobody knew it was offered on the Switch.

But, you're actually proving that the Switch version picked up steam and is now selling higher than the Xbox version.

So are you trying to say that we should only consider first week sales of any game.............and not its performance every week afterwards?

The better question is: who are YOU trying to fool?:drake:
