Why would the other platforms be seeing growth when they're both expecting decline and the generation is drawing to a close?

 

Also the Switch is only "important" because it's new and its competitors are on their way out, when it's not and Xbox/PlayStation are out with their new thing it no longer will be.

Remember Dyno continuously talking about XBox hardware revenue growth percentages right up until the X NPD stats could finally be compared to X sales from the year prior as opposed to only S sales then it quickly didn't matter anymore
