On the real though.. if the story is something like she gets the 007 codename, and then sets out to find out what happened with James Bond, trying to convince him to come back / prove his innocence of something from bad guys that set out to destroy him.. that could be pretty fucking badass. When James Bond "lost" 007 and was 7777... nobody else was 007 during that time. James Bond is 007. You're not making a compelling argument as to why this woman couldn't just be another number lmao. I personally don't care that much. But it's easy to just say "what's the big deal?" but that's because you know they're only giving her the "007" codename to "make it a big deal"... because if she was just some other character... there would be no discussion...
