jehurey 3,227 Posted August 23, 2019 Share Posted August 23, 2019 I don't understand why the video game industry hasn't gotten into more sophisticated adventure games using FMV and some lesser-known actors. The biggest sign that there's a market for that stuff is that Wii game that is basically a Japanese Soap Opera, 428 Shibuya Scramble. It sold 180,000 copies in Japan, and the majority of that was fairly quickly. Those things wouldn't cost more than a 20th of what a video game would cost. And they could churn them out quickly. You see a whole bunch of shows on TNT and USA that is of similar quality. Now do it for a video game, and you can have more cursing and blood. And, it can be episodic, released digitally, and you don't have to wait several months for the next episode. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
