The performance easily doubled the first week’s debut of Gears of War 4 and made Gears 5 the most-played Xbox Game Studios title in its first week since 2012’s Halo 4. But the spin was still funny though. "best ever launch for Xbox Game pass for PC" - Gamepass launched June 2019 on PC. "Over 3 million players" - With gamepass only being $2 the number of players should be higher than that. The biggest question now is how many of those players will renew GP once they beat gears. How big of a percentage is that 3 million number from the ENTIRE active GamePass subscriber base? That's the thing..........they have this info, and they not sharing it unless it makes them look good. If they go silent on "active players" after this week, it means that it dropped considerably enough for them to not want to talk about it anymore.
