People would've completed their games from the end of the year, but they don't have to compete with other titles like Cyberpunk and Watch Dogs. It also makes it seem like Sony is confident that they will have a PS5 out in Fall/Winter 2020, so they're trying to make sure their remaining PS4 games get out early enough.
