Remij 4,670 Posted September 30, 2019 Share Posted September 30, 2019 Someone in that resetera thread brought up the talks about Sony and MS working together using Azure for their cloud services and that did seem odd at the time. Maybe Jim Ryan and Shawn had completely different ideas and planned on taking Playstation in a different direction and since then or even before then things have been going on at Sony which seemed odd. Then there's also the fact that it really has been weird that apparently a lot of Sony games were canned recently, and that Sony essentially hasn't had anything new to show for years now. We've been riding on the same announced games for 3 years or so now. Maybe things aren't as rosy as they seemed? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Ever since he replaced jack tretton the direction they were going in was terrible, and their e3s were embarrassing to where they literally gave up. You realize these people only leave when the brand is in high regard right? He's selling out right when the getting is good. I don't know the details (not a business man by any means) But I'm assuming his severance package will be pretty hefty with PS4 where it is now.
