Short week. Pick two games. One is your best game of 2014, the other is your runner-up

 

PS3/X360/Wii console gen is over, and a new console gen struggles to get off the ground. This list is shorter than the 2013 list of games.

there is so much trash this year wow. but also lots of good indie games, lot of them i still have to finish like Lisa: the painful.

 

The main character looks like JImbo

I think 2014 was a huge jump in graphics overall, obviously also because next gen consoles released.

I'm surprised how little votes Dark Souls 2 is getting here.

 

Isn't it supposed to be the best of the 3 dark souls games?

 

My votes would have to be:

1.) Mario Kart 8, really can't think of a better racing game of its type. Its hard to think how they can even improve.

2.) Bayo 2

 

Honorable mention goes to Murdered Soul Suspect.

 

There's some games I didn't play yet: Tropical Freeze, Far Cry 4, and the AssCreed games. I keep on hearing that Rogue was a surprisingly good AssCreed game, so I don't know if any of those games could've bumped Bayo 2.

dark souls 2 is by far the worst of all the souls games. and everyone agrees on that. :D

not everyone tbh. there's a really vocal part of the community that loves DS2, mostly for the PvP. 

 

but the version of DS2 that came out in 2014 was ass. i never bothered playing until SotFS was out. 

 

2014 sucked.

lol SotFS didn't fix shit and it's hard on for mob ganks make it worse than base DS2, IMO.

yeah ive heard the complaints about the balancing.

 

when i played DS2 originally it was on PS3 though, so when i said it was ass i was more referring to it running at 12fps.
