Except for the fact that we have "Security Teams" at churches now...........and let that thought sink in for a moment that we now live in a world in which your church that you bring your family to requires a "security team"

As Islam grows expect this to become the norm.

Context was in regards to security at churches.

What’s going on in America is a symptom of something else.

Also thank God there was someone there with a gun to stop it :reg:

What's causing the rise in mass shooting in America? Stop dodging the question :really:

The law that allowed guns in this church was passed because of a mass shooting at a church in 2017 by a hillbilly that wanted to kill his mother-in-law.

This could have been so much worse had other people not been armed in that church. We don't need less guns, we need more. If that guy knew there were 5+ other people armed in that church he wouldn't have even tried.

He thought it was a vulnerable target, he was sorely mistaken. The populous needs to be armed to protect themselves and others.

It has nothing to do with inexperience or nervousness.

Third person had extensive handgun training. They panicked, the gun got stuck in his shirt. He failed.

There was a 20/20 news special about gun training, and this was back in 2002, where they had 3 people to do an experiment.

Nobody is John Wayne. We have a mentality in which we think "we got this" when in reality we have a false sense of security.

LOL If John Wayne were to have switched spots with the guy to his left............he wouldn't be John Wayne anymore.

LOLOLOLOL "across the room"?

You're not understanding, probably because you're too butthurt and tunnel-visioned..........he GETS SIX SECONDS because two people took those bullets for him.

He doesn't win that shootout and he doesn't become a hero unless there's two bodies in front of him.

And you know I'm right.

LOL, go back to nitpicking to try making yourself feel better.

Stop trying to change the context of my point to try and push your narrative.

You’d never accept the answer anyway no matter what you were given. We both know this.

LOL, people who don't know shit yet think they can't "handle it" are coming in and pretending they know the answer.

It appears that the second guy that was shot, the guy in the corner, had no gun. Which makes him even braver for being the first guy to confront the shooter and try and talk to him. And he is brave because he drew just enough attention to allow ex-FBI guy standing to the left to finally get the proper shot off.

But what if the shooter knew that guy in the corner wasn't an immediately threat and moved his eyes leftward to the two guys with guns. Shot #1 takes down the first guy who tried to draw, Shot #2 takes down ex-FBI guy because he no longer has 6 seconds.

From that point forward, he most certainly continues to kill more people, because all of other members of the "Security Team" are considerably farther away, and by that point they have to deal with innocent bystanders standing up and getting in their way.

Guess we're also lucky that he used a shotgun, and not a semi-automatic rifle, or else he probably would've taken all 3 church guys much quickly, and then point his weapon towards the rest of the people in the seats.

Except you just tried to push a narrative as well, Einstein.

We caught you in your bullshit.

Come on, he's easily 30+ feet away. Why downplay what an incredible shot that was?

Haven't seen the second angle to get a better judge on distance among the church pews. You're right its closer to 30 feet. He clearly has his eyes on him from the get-go, and since the aisles in a church slope downward, the ex-FBI guy stands at a higher ground and has the benefit of not having innocent bystanders get in his way. He needed every one of those 6 seconds to make that steady shot.

Why would you try taking out your weapon while he’s aiming a shotgun your way, and so slowly and casually? Doesent make any sense. Either way just a shame. Glad they got that pos

slowly and casually, yea, but I think this guy was taken by surprise, it looks like he didn't felt any threat from the guy in front of him before he pulled the shotgun.
