A locked thread on a next gen console will be a much smaller hit to performance than what it was to Jaguar CPUs in the current gen consoles...  There's still TONS more CPU to work with there.. and the

That 10 year contract nVidia setup with Nintendo is looking better and better.

Release a new Switch Dock sometime in 2021 that easily matches the other consoles, and then release a new Switch 2 that can deliver insane graphics for a handheld on the go.

What does any of that have to do with this thread?

What are you even basing any of that off of?  There's nothing that indicates that this has or will have anything to do with Nintendo or the Switch.  Literally nothing at all.  You're basically trying to take one thing... and combine it with another... to create their narrative that Nintendo is somehow going to benefit from this rumor...

Except I didn't say anything to him in this thread... until he started acting like a butthurt bitch in my thread.

One has to ask himself why my threads cause him to turn into this

Why not just say

“Twice as fast with equal power consumption”

Because the former being true doesn't mean that latter is.

My CPU is 6 cores :reg: 12 threads

You'll be fine. Next gen consoles are going to lock a thread or two for the OS and the cores will be underclocked, so the worries about 6/12 CPUs getting 6600k'd because of the new consoles is non-sense.

No.  That's not entirely true.  It's not like Windows isn't running in the background on PCs or anything... Also, on PC shaders have to be compiled.. and doing so during at runtime can put a lot of stress on the CPU.  Having more cores/threads helps manage and alleviate that.

Despite being clocked slower and having far less memory than their PC counterparts.. these Zen 2 console CPUs will be much faster than the Jaguar CPUs in current gen consoles.  Those have 8 cores / 8 threads.. and those also had 2 cores dedicated to the OS.  So games are STILL going to be more multi threaded than before.

6/12 will cut it for a while.. but not long.

Its literally in the first sentence.

Nintendo has a 10 year contract with nVIdia, so an improvement in their uopcoming GPU architecture will DIRECTLY benefit Nintendo.

That's not "nothing".............in fact, that's the most simplest and logical correlation to make.

Nintendo DOES HAVE a contract with nVidia for the their hardware GPU for the forseeable future. And it doesn't just have to be a mobile-centric GPU.

No... there's literally NOTHING that hints at Nvidia using Ampere in any console from what was posted in this thread.  No indication Nintendo will make a dock... no indication of NOTHING. You're making a completely basis speculation.
