Remij 4,670 Posted January 29, 2020 Share Posted January 29, 2020 The Coalition is definitely capable of more, or different. But within the Gears franchise they are limiting themselves. I agree with GD in some ways. The visuals are quite incredible at times.. but there's some very generic looking aspects to the game. That's just fact. They've limited themselves to "Gears formula + shinier" instead of really taking the gameplay systems and the visual identity to another level. It feels like "Gears" for sure.... but it's also completely understandable how people could think it feels "dated" now as well.
