So does RDR2 have the best fire system in games so far?

asassin's creed origins had some pretty impressive fire iirc too, in terms of functionality.

Yeah that one was decent, the one after that felt like a downgrade in some ways

Yeah origin’s fire, and overall physics, were better than odyssey, but odyssey was a much better game.

when you're playing, does it truly even seem like it matters? honest question.

functionality and gameplay? sure. otherwise fire graphics leave me cold

HAHA.

i mean like, do you even notice all the extra details when you shoot and play or does it just seem ho hum.

yeah like i said, fire looks almost always good to me, even if it's just a 2 second loop animation. interaction is nice but in most game its like a bonus-

I find water on the other hand way more interesting. i was so confused that battlefield 3's water for example looked awful and you couldnt even swim, but then revamped it in bf4 and made some really cool water physics with swimming, diving and boats.

I think water quality is all over the place in games, some look one guy spent 5 min on it, others it looks- and feels like its actually water :gasp:

In a game like with exploration being a big part you notice it more than linear games.
