How many hardware generations are the sheep behind now?

Recommended Posts

Switch 2 doesn't have to be as powerful and won't be as powerful as PS5 or Xsex..that much is obvious.

It just needs to powerful enough to support the next gen engines (rendering methods) , APIs,  etc so that it can be scaled down to Switch 2's rendering profile.

Don't worry about it... Nvidia will provide the goods.. this time with a hand crafted GPU specifically for Nintendo :blessed:

GPU ain't the issue. Portable RAM bandwidths are dogshit compared to stationary consoles. What's the point of a GPU that's bandwidth starved.

Nvidia GPUs are more RAM efficient than their AMD counterparts.

Going from 720p to 1080p is a bleh upgrade regardless.

I think Nintendo's next console will be a 1440p console..though they wont actually market it like that.. and will have many of the new features of the new consoles.

I'm not worried AT ALL about power for Nintendo's next system.  Nvidia is gonna have them covered. B)
