Right now, Ryzen 5 3400G a 3000 series APU, they are a gen behind on ZEN+ and VEGA 8 graphics right now. This year AMD will release the 4000 series APU, perhaps a Ryzen 5 4400G, that will use 4 cores 8 threads ZEN2 and likely have NAVI 20 graphics. The consoles are getting a custom version Ryzen 4000 APU, that will have a 8 cores 16 threads ZEN2 and NAVI 20 graphics. If AMD made a Ryzen 7 3700X as a 3700G APU for AM4 socket, you better believe that would be a costly APU, probably $500 retail for the APU chip itself. WE STILL DON'T KNOW HOW WELL NAVI 20 IS IN PERFORMANCE, it's smaller size, lower power might make it like the RTX MAX-Qs so although it's Big NAVI RDNA2, it's performance are akin to current RDNA RX 5700 and 5700XT 50th AE.
