Nah, that mode was alright but got old fast. Resistance is actually kind of unique in a lot of ways, Its really not that bad of an experience and I can see myself getting more time out of it than I did Mercs or that Revelations mode. What I will say is that it seems pretty unbalanced at the moment. I was browsing the steam forums and most people haven't been able to win on the survivor side, instead the guy who controls the zombies and traps wins almost every time.
