Wireless charging adapter with game control keys for computer game controller
 

Abstract

A wireless charging adapter that can snap onto a computer game controller can be inductively coupled to a charging base to wirelessly recharge a battery in the controller. The adapter also can include keys that mirror keys on the controller so that a gamer can remove the adapter with controller from the charging base, keep the adapter on the controller, and use both the controller keys and adapter keys to control a computer game.

The amount of work Sony goes through to lose money is dumbfounding. Like they could literally just have a dept whose job it is to just light bundles of money on fire and they would still be more cost effective than whatever R&D, manufacturing, and marketing must cost for shit like this.

Well if PS4 got a back button attachment chances are PS5 will too. Wireless charging is also cool if cheap.

now that playstation is the king of FPS this is great news. with pretty much 99% of serious shooter fanatics, and the 1-2 punch combo of COD/Destiny a.k.a real Halo, Playstation needs an elite controller equivalent.  nothing else matters at this point.

 

 

of course next gen halo could very well end up on PS5, its serious looking like halo is on it's last legs. all the games are on steam anyways so there's really no reason for them not to be on PS5.

Apparently the back button attachment for PS4 is hard to come by; I guess Sony under estimated its popularity.
