- Metroid Prime is an 'ok' game and MP2 is a bad game

- No Halo game has ever had a great campaign and Halo CE's campaign has some of the worst level design in a highly rated game ever.

- Majority of Nintendo's game would receive VASTLY lower scores if they were released on Sony or MS consoles without the Nintendo name, especially Zelda (Skyward Sword has a 93 meta.....93. For a legit 5-6 game)

- Ubisoft is a top tier developer and publisher and the best of the major 3rd parties. They are more consistent in quality, support their games more than anyone (whether it launches successfully or not) and have an incredible range of IPs.

- Gamecube is one of the greatest consoles of all time.

- Linear games are better than open world games, including games were you simply select levels from a menu. HUB worlds are the absolute worst. 

- RDR2 has a shit story

The SNES version of Aladdin is better than the Genesis version.  People only like the Genesis version because of the sword, but the SNES version simply plays better

 

Call of Duty campaigns are top rate.  They pack a lot of action into 6 or so hours, and I look forward to a new Call of Duty Campaign ever year, except for that year the gipped us.

 

Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening is the best Zelda game on the switch

 

Swimming levels are usually some of my favorite levels in video games

 

If you are poor, its perfectly morally acceptable to pirate.  The developers didn't lose the money you couldn't afford to give them

 

Mega Man 5 is the best NES mega man.  Imagine levels, big sprites, it has everything you want in a megaman game.

 

Super Mario Bros 2 USA is fantastic and simply kicks the lost levels ass.

I played Fallout 4 but I didn't get that sense of amazement like with new vegas or breath of the wild.  Even The Outer Worlds had me hooked. Fallout 4 became incredibly easy  if you went out and did sidequests. I had to install difficulty mods to even shit out.

Too many of Ubisoft's games share the same template and are starting to blend together. They also do put out some stinkers from time to time, Breakpoint being the most recent one.

Not a contradiction at all. Just because I prefer linear games doesn't make open world games bad and it also doesn't meant that every linear game is better than every open world game. It literally means I just prefer linear games. And Ubisoft haven't converted shit. Far Cry was always open world. AC was always open world. Division was always open world. They haven't converted a single franchise that was linea into a open world one except maybe Ghost Recon, which was a natural progression of that franchise.

everyone puts out stinkers from time to time but from the major 3rd parties they are by far the most consistent. They also consistently put out new IPs every gen.

They released 3 (dragon Age - cross gen, Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem), so you can't even fucking count to 1 properly. Not to mention thanks for bringing Bioware and they gigantic flops into this. Perfect argument for why Ubisoft destroys EA. EA even killed Bioware, a dev team that was seen as one of the best
