The fatness that it has around the D-pad is going to make a difference when it comes to comfort.  The previous Playstation controllers were thin in this area, and required you to stretch your a thumb a little more and have it hovering for longer periods of time.

 

This new controller will be fat around that area so your thumb can simply rest on it.

It looks like it's going to feel real nice in the hands.  I'm glad the L1 and R1 buttons are bigger too.

 

I'm most excited about that haptic feedback.

 

I wish MS would have had something similar so 3rd party devs would utilize it.  That shit is going to go unused on PC most likely.. unless Sony releases games that use it.

That's the white Elite controller. 

Actually that shape on the side does show a difference.

 

THe Xbox elite has like a droopy nose, teardrop design. But the dualsense has like this cliff-nose curve.

He's likely rattling off about the ones from the original Xbox One controller which were changed completely in the next revision.
