They has a bad last part of the 1st quarter, but continued to put guys into space and shutdown the lanes; and when you're up against the Rockets, it's really about limiting their ability to get too far ahead of you. That was probably the best scrimmage thus far, and I enjoyed seeing how solid the team looked tonight. That bench is never discussed (let alone the starters) during sports shows, but this team is really deep, and more importantly, competent. Raptors and Lakers next Saturday 3rd time will be the charm this season against the Raps for The Bron and The Brow.
Teh_Diplomat 2,054
I mean on the one hand it's Jamal adams; on the other, that's nearly every pick you'll have for 2 years... Edited July 26, 2020 by Teh_Diplomat

You got fleeced. Secondary means jack swat when you can’t get pressure either. Also, not like you guys draft well or at all in the first round. Still Russell is always good to at least have you competing for a wild card. He’s a top tier qb.

Seattle's 1st rounds picks usually are traded away (because they're between 26-31) or worse yet; they use the pick and received: Rashaad Penny's - Hawks 1st pick (20th overall) in 2018; stats thus far... 1st round draft pick, and in 2 seasons you don't even have 800 yards? Meanwhile, whats the pick worth next year? Especially considering there might not even be a college season.
Ike★ 2,906
Except that tight end is George Kittle. Good luck.

Ike★ 2,906
I got a feeling most of these new seasons for US sports might not finish.
54212 432
Well that's a wrap on the season. How did they expect any other outcome?
54212 432
If you're a pro athlete, why would risk this? You're already rich.
Delita 698
It’s The same reason plenty of athletes accumulate a massive amount of wealth and somehow end up going broke after their career is over. A lot of pro athletes are honestly fucking stupid and no different than ordinary people who believe the virus is a hoax/overblown. Sports in general is filled with fratboy culture and they don’t want to be “that guy” in the locker room who let down his team by choosing to sit out.

Hot Sauce 2,729
There's just as many athletes opting out or showing concern for inadequate precautions as there are idiots going to strip clubs.
jehurey 3,230
However, if you are a professional athlete, you have spent decades of your life mindless following instruction, repeatedly. I'm sure the Players Association and players agents have told the players that they've done every possible precaution, and its just a short period of time. And the player will just follow instruction. Also, I wouldn't put it past the simple explanation that the Miami Marlins are a piece of shit organization that would definitely cut corners when it comes to player safety. But then again, so did the Washington Nationals, when Juan Soto was confirmed with the virus, the other players asked if they should go into quarantine since they were around them. But they were told that they were clear to take the field. If the virus spreads through basketball teams, then that's a really bad sign. Because it looks like the NBA had the best protocols. People are gonna be pissed if they cancel football.
