I had 9th gen and 10th gen . 9th gen is faster , according to RT . A fbo 9th gen will wreck a 10th gen stock and the 9th gen was way more fun and had a much better engine.

Its pretty telling when a 10th gen sport hatch is .2 seconds slower to 60 . They put a trash engine in the si . I wouldnt even call the 10th gen si an si

Honda underrated the tenth gen SI for the Type-R.

What. You also going to call the Type-R not a proper Type-R?

lol clown

Keep on driving your pos Subbie.

Don't worry... you'll understand when it comes time for Nintendo to announce their next console.

Hall of shame.

So much stupid in this thread.  Remij might as well be talking to a bunch of rocks.

No the type r is more than proper . A bigger engine with vtech and a turbo . 300hp and insane handling . The type r is awesome.

The new si is a base civic turbo with a light tune and better suspension .

I was so disappointed going from my 9th gen to my 10th gen . The si would be great of it had the detuned type r engine like the accord does . But that engine has NO emotion . Its a shame because the rest of the car is great .

Best handling si , but also the slowest with laggy , boring engine .

The Accord 2.0T is trash, even with the detuned Type-R.

And yeah, 205hp is dissapointing. 225hp "stock" would have been nicer but it would have competed with the Type-R, which is what Honda didn't want.

Plus the SI is more than a base turbo Civic.

It has better internals, iron casted heads, adjustable dampers and lsd.

And you know what?

A basic flash from Hondata will unlock the SI to its real 230hp power.

Like I said, Honda underrated the SI big time.

Should have been minimum 230 . 240 would have been better.

It performs almost the same as the base turbo and the engine is trash . The adjustable dampers and throttle map is barely noticable . May as well not even have it. The steering is the only thing you can tell that changes .

Lsd was a nice add for sure . Still trash engine .

Sure a tune will unlock any car. Not sure id want to trust the 1.5 being boosted to 230whp . Not on warranty at least .

They didnt underrate it , the neutered it .

You said its a 6.0 second to 60 car,  faster than 9th gen and can beat a 9th gen with fbo which is all wrong and you call me a know it all .

Let's not forget the carbon build up on that stressed out 1.5 ltre shoe box of an engine LOL

Not to mention the oil dilution rofl . 9th gen would do 300k miles.  I'd be surprised if the 10th gen could do 100k. Base civic engine in an si haha

2011 civic si is faster than you car , its faster than the 2020 civic si .

Cooke and malakius are both retarded too .

Except it isn't.  According to 0-60times.com 2011 Si hatch is at 8.6 seconds. The heavier version of my car the 2019 Touring sport is st 6.9 and mine is 100lbs lighter than the touring.  So......
