I hope it doesn't result in frustrated buyers in the store come black friday.

 

But its a pretty clever hardware sku in order to make the salesman upsell.  They come in, probably thinking they're going to get a $300 Xbox Series S, and then they see the PS4 do full 4K for a $100 more. So its worth it to them to get that one, but its not in stock.

 

But the one that cost $100 more is in stock, and the advantage over that one is that it also doubles as a 4K blu-ray player.
