New COD Warzone runs better on Series X

Recommended Posts

They'll probably patch it on PS5, but huge oversight, hopefully Sony strongarms them to gimp the XsuX version, they're breaking contract by giving Xbone any advantage at all.

Call of Duty belongs to PS so there's no excuse for this.

Activision needs to limit the frames on Xsux below PS5, it's only fair.

Apparently they can't, it's the same reason Rocket League is 120 FPS on Series X and 60 FPS on PS5, and Star Wars Squadrons is 120 FPS on Series X and 60 FPS on PS5. These are running via backward compatibility, they were merely updated with a small patch via smart delivery.

The way Sony's backward compatibility is handled somehow doesn't allow it because it has to conform to a certain performance profile, it's hard coded into the system. For this same result these games would need to be natively ported to the PlayStation 5, the Series X doesn't have this caveat.

Wait they're talking about the last-gen version of Warzone running in backwards compatibility mode?:omglol:

Guess that's all they have to look forward, at this point.

How does Warzone run on Switch?
