Apparently they can't, it's the same reason Rocket League is 120 FPS on Series X and 60 FPS on PS5, and Star Wars Squadrons is 120 FPS on Series X and 60 FPS on PS5. These are running via backward compatibility, they were merely updated with a small patch via smart delivery. The way Sony's backward compatibility is handled somehow doesn't allow it because it has to conform to a certain performance profile, it's hard coded into the system. For this same result these games would need to be natively ported to the PlayStation 5, the Series X doesn't have this caveat. Time for activision to go in and sabotage the XsuX warzone code. hopefully sony hits them with a lawsuit, Xflop isn't allowed ANY advantage in COD. It's part of the contract.
