And before anybodys says "its because he cares about soldiers".............no he doesn't, he directly caused over 80 soldier injuries because Iran retailiated for him killing one of their top people. Trump has moved billions of dollars in military funds that are meant to go to soldiers and their families in order to fund a small portion of the wall. Trump doesn't care about soldiers...........so why, all of a sudden that he's a lameduck, does he want to swiftly take them out of Afghanistan? Because another country in that region benefits from US military presence leaving. And that other country has told Trump what to do. The outgoing president made the request in the Oval Office last Thursday but was talked out of it by senior administration officials, according to the New York Times. Mr Trump was reportedly told by vice president Mike Pence, secretary of state Mike Pompeo and others that such action could lead to a wider escalation of conflict in the final weeks of his presidency. which means that he's seeking to pull out of Afghanistan because someone else is telling him to.
