IGN Preview after 16 hours: Basically big, bold, beautiful... and buggy (no real surprises there)

- loads of stuff to do
- visually stunning
- the city and verticality is incredible
- combat gives you loads of options to find your favorite style, from stealth to melee to massive firepower
- some enemies a bit spongy, suggesting a less head-on approach
- huge amount of quests, side quests and activities in every area
- you can go hours without combat just experiencing the stories in the world
- characters immediately interesting and well-acted
- RPG through and through

Some cons:

- lots of bugs, including some pretty big ones
- confusing quest log

i fear i may encounter the same problem I have had with Elder Scrolls games, where my quest log gets too full that I quit the game after 80 hours into it. I just keep walking around the corner and end up triggering a new quest as the list grows bigger. Need to stop doing that and focus on knocking out the quest that I am on.

Also, if there's bugs, the first place that is going to get patches is their PC version on GoG.com

It's going to be better.  The framerate wont tank like it will on One X.

why does DMC5 have ray tracing at 4k on One X and no ray tracing at 1080p for Series S? That makes no sense if S is supposed to be more powerful..

you google Xbox Series S and half the shit that comes up is Xbox One S. You search it on Amazon and the top result is the One s for the same 379 price as the Series S. Stupid marketing department. Its just like the Wii WiiU shit.

Why the fuck would you think the Series S is more powerful than the X?

He's talking about the One X... not Series X.

He's asking if the Series S (low end new console) will run CP2077 better than the One X (upgraded old console)

(it's sad I have to spell it out like that lmao)

It will be the BC version of One S so no, it will be worse

At least until the next gen patches

Not a single second of that final gameplay trailer comes from a console version. Lovely ray-tracing.

I was hoping they'd do what Ubisoft did with Watch Dogs and give an expanded list of PC requirements with ray-tracing, but its not like we don't already know what they'd list.

I just really hope that there's a NPC count slider to turn way up. I mean Witcher 3 had one on the PC. I want the world crowded with people and cars on the streets.

a woman has a floating head with no neck at 6:20

its definitely going to have bugs.

I doubt it's a bug but more of a streaming issue. I had this while playing kingdom god when I put the object range to a minimum.

But according to reviews it definitely had a lot of bugs of the version they played like the UI disappearing, not hearing voices etc. It was also a reason for the delay. Hope they can fix a lot of it.

Wut?

Series S uses backwards compatibility of One S versions

Series X uses bc with One X versions

Both have enhancements though

I'm not even sure what you saying. :D

best on ps5 for xbox?? All I'm saying is a floating head from a citizen NPC won't happen if the hardware has enough oomph behind it. It is not a bug.
