Isn't smooth gameplay like the bare fucking minimum a developer can do? Having fidelity dictate over stability is retarded. It really takes the complete awe out of a new console when you're already giving the end product limitations.

Thats gimpbox for you

uuhh, smooth gameplay is still considered 30fps bare minumum. Nobody likes it but it's the truth and it will remain like that for a long time.

So according to that logic, the One X was a success and the Pro was a failure.

The Pro had fantastic exclusives.  X is just a mistake all around.  Last gen it had the horsepower but no games and this new gen it is an unoptimized mess and no games.

No, by 2019 multiplatform developers actually gave up and didn't even optimize One X versions of their games any better than the settings that the PS4pro was running.

In some games, the PS4pro version actually performed better.
