Been binge watching older movies on my  brother's Apple TV. This movie did come out at a pretty interesting time.

 

IMO, VR was/is more of the future than 3D...

 

On a side note, I'm sure the creature designer for the natives was a cat person (and possibly a furry)...

That's just James Cameron. T2 is nearly 30 years old and still has better CGI than every DCEU movie.
