He is basically trying to get the Texas State Government to try and take control of the city of Austin and remove control from the Austin City Council. Like suing them. All the while, Texas is approaching 40,000 COVID deaths months after Greg Abbott said "we are not going to be like New York" when it comes to failing to handle the virus. Abbott has utterlly disappeared when it comes to talking about the virus. He only comes out to complain about Austin defunding the police and to announce when he has given a tax rebate for a California company to come over.
