I mean, the biggest boost the new consoles got are their SSD. The new consoles graphical output hasn't impressed anyone.

It's a gaming laptop, cost me $1500. Nothing basic about it, while it's not as good as the new consoles it easily outperform the last-gen consoles, which is what I wanted at the time, PS5 and Series X weren't even out yet when I bought it.

 

It has it's limitations but I usually play most games on high with a few settings at ultra, at 1080p, while usually maintaining a FPS of around 80 (or more).

I don't have any monitor that output more than 1080p either way. 1440p would be good enough for me, don't care much for 4K, having a high FPS is way more important for me.
