He never actually says it's profitable... he says they're comfortable running it the way it is... which is obvious... they're investing for the future... but to think they're already seeing ROI this early in a streaming service is beyond Naive. Meaning their goal is to to grow the gamepass userbase at the cost of profits. Eat the losses in the short term in the hopes that in the long term you were able to build a huge userbase for the service which would then eventually turn a profit for you.
