Biden orders more intel investigation of COVID-19 origin

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden ordered U.S. intelligence officials to “redouble” their efforts to investigate the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, including any possibility the trail might lead to a Chinese laboratory.

After months of minimizing that possibility as a fringe theory, the Biden administration is joining worldwide pressure for China to be more open about the outbreak, aiming to head off GOP complaints the president has not been tough enough as well as to use the opportunity to press China on alleged obstruction.

Biden asked U.S. intelligence agencies to report back within 90 days, and he told reporters on Thursday that he aimed to release their results publicly. The Democrat directed U.S. national laboratories to assist with the investigation and the intelligence community to prepare a list of specific queries for the Chinese government. He called on China to cooperate with international probes into the origins of the pandemic.

 

“He felt that it was important given a lot of confusion out there to make public, not only what the (Intelligence Community) had done, but also to expand the investigation for 90 days, add more components of the federal government, including our national labs and our health and medical expertise,” she said. “So that’s exactly what we did.”

Biden in a statement said the majority of the intelligence community had “coalesced” around those two scenarios but “do not believe there is sufficient information to assess one to be more likely than the other.” He revealed that two agencies lean toward the animal link and “one leans more toward” the lab theory, “each with low or moderate confidence.”

First of all, WHO already did such an investigation last year, and they found no such evidence that it was made in a laboratory.

 

And secondly, there are reports that the Chinese military was having mass amounts of people being tested as of October 2019, which leads people to believe that the outbreak was already occuring by then.

 

And, if the Chinese government was already reacting and trying to test their public in October 2019...........then this "3 people in a lab" theory that occurs in November 2019 completely falls apart.

 

Now...............do you know what would've been best for the United States and their Intelligence?

 

If the dipshit previous president hadn't gutted our Pandemic International Response Team, and especially fired all of our ON-GROUND, NATIVE CHINESE members of that Pandemic Response Team that would've been able to get into Wuhan and do first-hand investigation.

 

And then, the idiot previous president decided to NOT DO ANYTHING about the virus when it broke out in January and February, and he received an intelligence report as early as November 2019..........and still did nothing.

 

And then instead of sending people to China to work with them in January/February/Match 2020.......he immediately ruined that chance and just blamed them without evidence.

 

Biden's new investigation is going to turn up nothing....................because there's nothing to discover 19 months after the fact.

 

And right-wingers like Twinblade are going to use that as the foundation for MORE conspiracy theories.

 

Even though it was the idiot previous president that failed to properly investigate anything.

In fact, there was already an abnormal rise in pneumonia-classified deaths in several countries in October 2019. Another sign that the theory completely falls apart.
