MS have apparently acquired 3 additional studios

Recommended Posts

Sad. Microsoft is where studios go to die. Microsoft couldn't compete in gaming so they've decided to just kill the whole industry instead.

Shit on Sony for playing the same game all you want but at least when they buy studios they get output.

Wonder if they announce them at their show or spread them out?

I do think it's funny MS buys more studios per year than they release games per year. :ben:

They are like a collector.  They buy figurines just to keep them in the box and look at them.

Someone on REEEEra posted this

According to Grubb the rumour is Ioi, Avalanche and Crytek

Those are pretty decent gets ngl :francis:

Yeah Avalanche is 100% one of them and will be revealed at their E3 show.

Crytek seems to be too given other rumours.

Both of those are meh to me.

Ioi on the other hand is amazing. Obsidian level get imo.

Grubb is apparently saying some wild stuff on his podcast about acquisitions (supposedly the rumour is now Rocksteady and Neverrealm are the 4th and 5th studios).
