Let me give you an example............NYT and Washington Post had an unnamed source, TWO of them in fact, verify that HR McMaster was quitting and leaving.

 

Trump called them liars repeatedly, said they pulled it out of their ass. he even had HR McMaster go out and do a press conference to say that it was ludicrous.

 

two weeks later, HR McMaster quit and left.

 

So..............the NYT and WaPo have credibility. They've earned it.

As this landmark bill takes another step to passing.  Let's take a look at some of its provisions. 

 

It features $550 billion in new federal spending over five years. The measure invests $110 billion in funding toward roads, bridges and major projects, $66 billion in passenger and freight rail, $65 billion to rebuild the electric grid, $65 billion to expand broadband Internet access, and $39 billion to modernize and expand transit systems. Among many other priorities, the bill also includes $55 billion for water infrastructure, $15 billion of which will be directed toward replacing lead pipes.

 

 

Meanwhile, Trump is on the sideline working hard to pressure Republicans senators to not support the bill.    He is working harder on trying to block the bill than he did in 4 years on his own infrastructure plans.... Which by the way he couldn't even move the needle on

His base always fell for that shit, everything was always *coming soon", "it will be huge when it gets here" , "you'll see" .

You have to remember this.

 

This entire Republican party never...................ever, brought an actual healthcare plan bill to replace Obamacare.......EVER..........during the four years of Trump's presidency.

 

Their only piece of legislation they attempted was to repeal Obamacare..............with NO REPLACEMENT. The legislation only dealt with removing existing legislation.

 

They literally did nothing.

 

Because they are not "for" any damn thing. They are purely designed on being "against" democrats.

 

And so whenever I see somebody here who doesn't really talk about anything they are "for" and they almost always always "against" anything the Democrats do...........I call them Republicans, even though they try to deny it.

 

Because they are doing exactly what the Republican party is training their base to do.
