DeSantis state of Florida is requesting 300 ventilators from the Federal Government this past Friday, the Dept. of Health is expected to deliver them this Monday

This is what a competent Federal Government, a competent Executive Branch looks like.

The Trump Federal government took all existing orders for Ventilators, and the states had to BID AGAINST EACH OTHER to get ventilators, which meant they spent more money to receive less equipment.

 

And when people pointed out that Jared Kushner was completely wrong in the Dept. of Health's federal stockpile not being meant to support the states.................they went and changed the definition on the Dept. of Health's website based on Kushner's words:

The Trump Federal Government was even CONFISCATING shipments of N95 masks from states who had bought them from China and in other countries.

 

Remember, this was when hospitals didn't have enough N95 masks for their doctors and nurses, and they were re-using them. The states were scrambling to buy them overseas, and when they arrived by plane, Trump's federal government SEIZED the shipment for themselves.

 

The State of Massachusetts literally had to HIDE their shipment by bringing it in the New England Patriots' Team Airplane to get by the feds.

 

Oh, and while the federal government was stealing masks from the states, they didn't know they had possession of over 1.5 million N95 masks sitting in a warehouse, unused. And those masks ended up expiring past their recommended usage date, so they couldn't be given to hospitals back in late March 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic exploding.

 

So, just to reiterate............Florida needs 300 ventilators, they put a request in Friday to Biden's Dept. of Health. They will get them in about 10 days from the federal government. No questions asked.

 

That's what a competent government looks like.

 

Oh, and by the way, Florida requested these ventilators without notifying Gov. DeSantis, they did it under his nose.
