X-Thots on the other hand have no collector's scene, and will try the game out only for free, for 5 minutes on gamepass.

 

If you care about or value gaming at all, xbox is not your first choice.

You don't seem to understand his assertion, he's not talking about front loaded game sales, he's talking about a boost in sales relative to people discovering new things on the service they otherwise wouldn't have and then eventually purchasing them.

 

Also no one cares about the UK and physical sales mean virtually nothing, especially there.

It's the same results on the US charts which are dominated by Switch and PlayStation ganes.... And the US charts includes digital Xbox data... And yet Xbox games still don't chart

Do Lems even game at all? How many games multiplatform games are gonna flop on Xbox before these devs pull the cable on that joke brand. Didn’t Phil say GP was supposed to increase sales? If a GOTY contender like this can’t sell on Xbox what’s the incentive to keep putting games on the FlopBox?
 

Something tells me MS just created GP to hide rotten third party sales numbers because lems simply do not buy games. They are a bunch of casuals that don’t wanna invest in owning games or even playing games. I noticed how Flight Simulator launched and didn’t even chart on Xbox. It wasn’t even on their most played games on Xbox for July lol.
