The complaint here is that gamers are basically wanting something free to take advantage of.

 

If you want to play the game on a PS4 in February of next year, and want to continue playing it on the PS5, and you already know what you want to do......then just pay the extra $20

 

If you didn't think the game was worth it and were apprehensive, then you wouldn't even consider paying $60 to begin with and would just wait for a sale.

 

You'd also know, at this point, whether you will be buying a PS5, because you pretty much already have to have the money set aside right now so that you can be ready to buy one at a moment's notice, should stock come back online. So just spend the extra $20, or just buy the $70 version because you're not gonna spoil your experience by starting it on PS4 first.

 

I mean, you got 5 full months to find a PS5 in stock between now and when the game releases.

 

I don't think there are many people who want to play this game on PS4, and then either continue playing it on PS5 or replay the game on PS5. it doesn't make much sense that people would want to experience the game that way. Either you already know, by watching that 14 minute demo, if that's a stunning game that you want to experience on the PS5, or if you don't mind playing a less-than-optimal experience.

Do you not remember when Nintendo charged people to “upgrade” the N64 roms they downloaded onto the Wii, onto the Wii U? And many haven’t made it to Switch as something you can own.

I love how lemmings are complaining, when they try to pretend that Microsoft giving them up-ports of games originally developed for Xbox One for free..........is seen as a FAVOR in their eyes.

 

They bought a $500 console, and Microsoft is actually developing games for a last-gen console that is so noticeable, that they can't even implement ray-tracing in the versions for that $500 console or even their multi-thousand dollar PCs.
