Devs of Ghost Recon BR game cancel upcoming beta test because of universal backlash to the game's reveal

Yikes, they're probably gonna throw almost everything out and just make a regular GR game at this point. This backlash is definitely warranted though, far too many studios are shitting on their franchises by going the BR route for easy money. Even BF2042 started off as a BR game apparently, and you can see that in how poorly designed its specialist system is.

I don't know what's going to happen, but their update literally says they'll reveal the new Closed Test date as soon as they can. Not sure how you came to the conclusion they're going to shelf everything and make a regular Ghost Recon game. With that said, this game looks like complete shit.

A Division BR was revealed earlier in the year and it received similar criticism. That game has also been MIA since then, which is no coincidence.
