If my subscription has already been counted since when The Outer Worlds released, they've pretty much counted my subscription from the time they had announced 13 million subscriptions around the Spring of 2020.

 

We don't know they exact guidelines over HOW they count subscribers.

 

But we do know previously that Microsoft counts ALL people who have had Xbox Live Gold active at one point or another as "XBL Subscribers".

 

So i figured they were doing the same thing with GamePass subscriber counts.
