Im quoting the Ukrainian president, I'm not speculating shit.

Meanwhile your entire point is a speculation :umad:

And so have I. In fact mere hours ago Zelensky once again pleaded for jets, which would clearly be more useful than sanctions at this present moment. But sadly his words once again fell on deaf ears

No other organization send those weapons their own. The governments are the ones who make the final decisions and allow for those processes to happen, therefore the weapons COME FROM THE GOVERNMENTS. The fact that you went on a tangent over something so blatantly simple is funny

'WE will continue to support Ukraine with Security assistance to fight Russian aggression'

Wrong.

The US provides money.

The US does not directly sell or ship these weapons. They are PURCHASES from private military weapons manufacturers.

They

Do

Not

Come

From

US Government.

They are AUTHORIZED for export by the US Government.

And the US government is moving money.

We do not have nationalized weapons manufacturing. But the government does control who those PRIVATE manufacturers are authorized to sell to.

You are unequivocally wrong on this point.

@Twinblade is a dishonest idiot. Like the video he posted where he claims Russians dont care about the sanctions....like half of the people expressed issues that are pretty major. I would say much bigger than wearing a mask to McDonalds. It's funny after two years of Conservatives whining about much their lives and liberties were destroyed by being required to wear a mask.

This goofy fuck hears people talking about the prices on nearly everything going up, scarcity, INABILITY TO USE BANK CARDS!, and is like...yeah, no big deal. lmfao The bizarro world he and Cooke live in is fucking magical.

But sanctions won't help them right now like planes would. Why do you still fail to realize that?

What does the planes have to do with the sanctions doofus?  :sabu:

You keep on spinning the west's sanctions as something positive based on Zelensky's comments from several weeks ago. But the situation has changed and they're not helping Ukraine. What would help Ukraine is jets and more military aid along those lines. Why is that so difficult to understand? The sanctions are NOT helping Ukraine win this war. Plain and simple.

Again what does sanction have to do with do with planes doofus?

He said it weeks ago because the US took the lead on the sanctions and were the first to do so

Sanctions + Aid (be is money to purchase equipment or equipment Itself)

The US is giving tons of Aid + were the first country to sanction, which Zelensky is happy with and he wasn't happy that Europe took so long to follow America's lead.

It still burns you that Zelensky praised Biden's leadership :umad:

Yup, you're continuing to deflect and go around circles and failing to actually address the point i've been making for several pages now. There's no point in continuing this argument.

Mayor of Chernobyl workers' town says Russian forces have left

March 27, 20229:12 PM CDTLast Updated 7 hours ago

March 28 (Reuters) - Russian forces have left the Ukrainian town of Slavutych, home to workers at the defunct nuclear plant of Chernobyl, after completing their task of surveying it, the mayor said early on Monday.

On Saturday, the Kyiv regional governor said Russian forces had taken control of the town just outside the safety exclusion zone around Chernobyl, the site of the world's worst nuclear disaster in 1986, where Ukrainian staff still manage the plant.

"They completed the work they had set out to do," Yuri Fomichev, the mayor of the northern town, said in an online video post. "They surveyed the town, today they finished doing it and left the town. There aren't any in the town right now."

Fomichev, seated in front of two small flags of the European Union and Ukraine, added that he was working, and not cooperating with the Russians. Last week, the regional governor, Oleksandr Pavlyuk, had said Russian forces kidnapped the mayor.

Why do so many liberals want Ukraine to just surrender? Why are you so afraid of Putin?

Biden just said that he would respond if Putin uses chemical weapons. Not unlike when Obama said Russia would be crossing a red line if they used chemical weapons in Syria.

Russia used them back then in Syria, and Obama did nothing.

If the same weapons are used again, Biden will probably whine and nap it off afterwards because as we’ve seen before democrats are all talk and no action.

Nobody wants to talk about it, but Trump warned that he would bomb Syrian forces if they used chemical weapons again back in 2018. And he not only kept his word, but many Russians working with Assad’s forces were killed in those attacks.

Bullies like Putin only understand force, and that move put him in his place. There’s a reason he didn’t even look in Ukraine’s direction when Trump was president.

Now that Obama 2.0 is in office, Putin knows he can do whatever he wants.

TBF, there's about 6,000 reasons to be afraid

Do I want Ukraine to surrennder? no. But I do believe that stoppinng the killinng should be the firsr priority with negotionations. The proble is that Russia's demands have been very unrealistic.

Ukraine war: Russia to 'fundamentally cut back' military activity near Kyiv and Chernihiv - but West says they're just playing for time

The Kremlin also appears to be on the verge of agreeing to a presidential meeting between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

in other words, they have to send their troops back because their supplies were low

hopefully the other countries can help Ukraine with re-supplying them and get reinforcements ready.

And who knows, they may be pulling out because they may try something terrible like chemical weapons, so hopefully the other nations should pre-emptively warn that they better not be attempting that shit.

But also, this is exactly the time in which Biden said that sanctions are going to take at least a month for them to really start taking effect.

Trump is now asking Putin to release "dirt" on Hunter Biden.

While the world is turning their backs on Russia, Trump is not only calling Russia's invasion "genius" he is now asking Putin for help in spreading propaganda for his political gain.

it’s a redeployment not a retreat of any kind. Nothing Russia says or does can be taken at face value

@Goukosanthoughts? :wonder:

They are apparently tying their currency to gold prices. This is fine when Russia is in a depression, but gold prices drop when the economy is good. Meaning their currency will lose value as things improve meaning imports become much more expensive which could start another depression.  It's a catch 22 scenario.

LOL you know its bad when even cooke is able to explain it.

but not only that Germany is moving forward with cutting off Russia gas because they will not pay in rubles.

So, it appears that Russia did this to temporarily give itself a brief spike, but Germany is willing to call their bluff.
