Russia has officially invaded Ukraine

Recommended Posts

Seems that Russia is going all in on offensives lately to try and make as many gains as possible before the winter weather comes and things slow down. The soldiers they were able to free up from Kherson are likely helping with that. There's fighting in the middle of Pavlika and they've creeped up to the edge of Bakhmut.

The losses they're receiving are still completely unsustainable, though. Their big play is still to try and force Ukraine to the negotiating table via attacks on Civilian infrastructure.

I think the Belarus expansion will come out first.

Their gains are minimal in the grand scheme in the east. Despite Russia repositioning, Ukraine was still able to free up a couple thousand square kilometers of land while Russia gained very little. Bakhmut is still a meat grinder situation for Russia, and most of the "advances" they've made are still not even visually confirmed. Russia is getting raped and it's going to be a lot more interesting when their troops freeze when winter really starts kicking in.

Yeah, thats why its important not to freeze the conflict. Russia wants time to replenish their forces and build more defenses along the frontline

If stuff like this is accurate then time is not on their side

It’s definitely disappointing how some right wingers I used to have some respect for (including Candace) are completely on the opposite side of the field when it comes to Ukraine.

Lol it's not just the Ukraine. It's just about every topic there is. It's their brand and the audience they covet. All this freedom bullshit is just their cover.

When Owens posted that she enjoyed Dr Dre's super bowl show, she then had to spend the whole day defending to her own audience that she grew up on rap or that the NFL allowed rap during the Superbowl half time show.

Right wing media isnt about informing people as much as airing their grievances in the most hostile way possible.

And now, after several months of the right-wing people in this thread denying that Trump would support Russia's takeover of another nation................we have Trump saying exactly that:

and then Fox News edits out the part where he says he would let Russia take over in later airing of the interview.

There it is, clear as day.

So he was following Obama's lead and letting Putin take Crimea.

No, because Obama responded with sanctions and did not condone the invasion in Crimea, and specifically called it illegal.

Trump is saying he would accept 'taking over" as a LEGALLY accepted deal by the United States.

Swing and miss.

Yeah cause that worked out well didn't it? And I see you forgot to mention Putin did not invade Ukraine again until old Joe took office.

Sorry, you attempting topic changes and moving goalposts isn't going to work with me.

Pretty sure appeasing Putin wouldn't have worked out well, either, and he would've kept on taking more and more land.

It's the same topic tool.

Only in Cooke's mind is an illegal invasion of a sovereign nation the same as a legal deal of giving away territory.  Lmfao.

would you rather a legal deal giving away territory or a war that kills hundreds of thousands and flattens cities and towns?
