Im done with this thread. This was supposed to be focused on the ongoing conflict on the ground and the implications surrounding it but you guys keep turning it into a GOP hating circlejerk. This forum is quickly becoming resetera-lite.

Because the GOP (not every single one of them.. But quite a few) have sided with Putin in this conflict and are spreading propaganda.

Ohh look @Cooke, your girl Tulsi is back with another Russian message... What's that, for different occasions of her echoing the exact Russian message at around the same time Rssia is doing it... Strange coincidence :umad:

I think the Belarus expansion will come out first.

NATO is officially saying that they estimate Russian military deaths is somewhere between 7,000 to 15,000

And what is telling is that the amount of injured compared to the amount of dead is very close to 1.5:1 or 1:1

Which is not normal. Usually the ratio for injured to dead would be like 3:1, or up to 5:1.

So, either they have 20,000 to 40,000 soldiers injured, and they just aren't telling us about it. Or, their medical evacuations are so bad or non-existant, that if a Russian soldier gets injured, there's no logistics to help them, and they eventually end up dying, which explains the low ratio.

It was nearly 10,000 KIA as of yesterday according to a leak from a Russian magazine. Thats probably the most accurate number so far

https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2022/03/22/pro-kremlin-paper-claims-was-hacked-posting-alleged-russian-death-toll-ukraine/

It also mentioned 16000 wounded. Thats actually a pretty terrible ratio of killed to wounded. It should be at least around 1:3/1:4 so they're definitely shitting the bed with their medical evac capabilities.

Also their tanks and BTR infantry fighting vehicles are poorly designed. This guy has some good info on that

Its no wonder there's footage of some tanks exploding into a big ball of fire when hit. I really wouldn't want to be part of a Russian tank crew, you are pretty much guaranteed to get incinerated. At least it'll be a quick and painless death I guess.

And now they don't have the materials to build new tanks because of the sanctions :salute:

Thats nice, but again, how does that help Ukraine? Russia is still attacking, thousands of people are still dying, and if they really wanted to they still have thousands of battle ready tanks that they can call up at any time.

Also, its worth noting that even the Ruble is starting to recover despite the sanctions

Nearly 1 month later and despite slightly higher prices and closed western businesses, life in Russia is still mostly continuing as normal.

Do you need someone to explain to you why Russia not being able to replenish new tanks to replace the destroyed ones is a good thing for Ukraine? :umad:

They have 12000 tanks in their current stock. Ukraine will be a pile of rubble before Russia even has to deploy most of them.

Why do so many liberals want Ukraine to just surrender? Why are you so afraid of Putin?

Biden just said that he would respond if Putin uses chemical weapons. Not unlike when Obama said Russia would be crossing a red line if they used chemical weapons in Syria.

Russia used them back then in Syria, and Obama did nothing.

If the same weapons are used again, Biden will probably whine and nap it off afterwards because as we’ve seen before democrats are all talk and no action.

Nobody wants to talk about it, but Trump warned that he would bomb Syrian forces if they used chemical weapons again back in 2018. And he not only kept his word, but many Russians working with Assad’s forces were killed in those attacks.

Bullies like Putin only understand force, and that move put him in his place. There’s a reason he didn’t even look in Ukraine’s direction when Trump was president.

Now that Obama 2.0 is in office, Putin knows he can do whatever he wants.

No they have 12,000 older tanks of varying quality of which they don't have the logistics to ship them out and keep them consistently fueled.

Its like you think this is a movie or something, where the US can send in a crack squad of commandos, or Rambo himself, to go solve this.

Ukraine is not a NATO country, the US and NATO cannot step foot in this war.

Ukraine has do to the defending. We're doing the next best thing: support and hurting Russia in any way we practically can.

Can you imagine if the US or NATO repelled Russia really quick, and we would've never known just how completely broken down their military is.  There'd be no economics effects that will last decades.

What Putin has done to reveal just how weak Russia is............is absolutely fantastic from a western perspective. The country is losing their standing.

Belarus, who has a puppet president that works for Putin..........their army is just flat-out rejecting to go to Ukraine. They don't fear Putin.

Poland is saying, out-loud, that they want Russia out of the G20, and they want to take their place.  So other countries are now realizing that Russia doesn't scare them anymore.

We would've never have discovered this without Ukraine demonstrating that they could hold their own these past 2-3 weeks.

Oh, and he's also forgotten the part that putting a single American soldier on the ground of Ukraine would require that the U.S. declare a war.

.............and does the President, head of the Executive branch, do this????????????????????

Oh, that's right, that's the responsibility of Congress.

So............clearly Republicans have put forward such a resolution, and announced to the media that they've done so, right?

Right??????

lol Every time you're cornered you just make shit up. What "liberals" want Ukraine to give up? Isn't if Fox who keeps pushing that notion? You're  too pussy to even go into Manhattan, so please dont ever ask why anyone is "afraid" of anything. Aside from the fact that Putin has a nuclear/chemical military at his complete disposal and no care for human life...what's the worse that can happen?

Again, make your position clear. You dont want war, but want force to be used which would be war. You can say all your cute, cunty side comments but you're also unclear as to what you want. You claim you dont want war, but like what does an armed confrontation with Russia lead to? You're too much of a coward to even state your intentions.

He was always looking at the Ukraine. You can wiggle in your gamer chair fantasing about Trump all day but the reason Putin was quiet was because Trump spent 4 years bashing NATO, which Putin loved.  Trump was aligned with people who were writing peace agreements for Russia and Ukraine which were probably more favorable to Russia than what anyone else would come up with. Trump has never spoken a single bad word against Putin, even now.

Putin hates NATO, and Trump spent his entire time in office working in opposition to NATO. That's what people and I'm being kind even calling you guys "people" dont want to speak about.

Trump's former campaign chief worked for an anti-NATO party and a politician who fled the country amid charges of corruption and collusion with Russia.

It's easy to claim the Russia stuff was a witch hunt, and while it was definitely overblown by the MSM, there was smoke there which is why people close to Trump were already under surveillance before the Trump team.

Putin wants Ukraine with a puppet President and Trump's former advisors were working with oligarchs and disposed Ukrainian politicos to install a friendly executive branch there. Trump wasn't a guard at the gate ready to protect anything, he team was Putin's best chance at getting what he wanted in what looked like a legitimate series of events.

YOU ARE A FUCKING MORON.

You are such a clown. Its like your blind to the trend of weak Democrat leaders being taken advantage of by countries like Russia and other countries throughout the years. The world was FAR safer and more stable under the Trump administration. This is 100% a fact

Russia wasn't invading anyone

ISIS was slaughtered in the middle east

Iran was obedient and wasn't leeching off of billions of Americans' tax payer dollars with the laughable nuclear deal

Afghanistan didn't fall to the Taliban (already reports that Al Qaeda and other terror groups are popping up around the country again)

Even Kim Jung Un had toned down his missile tests

All you do is whine about Trump and republicans but regular people both in the U.S. and worldwide were far better off under their leadership. And no, Trump didn't weaken NATO. He wanted them to pay their fair share and be more independent. Look at Germany, when Ukraine needed help all they could send at first were helmets :D absolutely pathetic. Now they're doing a complete 180 on their military policies and realizing that they need to invest more in their forces.

Finally his Trump delusions came to the forefront... I see you stopped presenting :sabu:

You spent weeks inadvertently praising the effects of the sanctions without you realizing you were, once I pointed that out... Now you're doing everything in your power to not praise the effects anymore.

The US also cut off importing Russian oil.... Curiously you made no comment on that x when for the first few days off the conflict you swore it was the right thing to do, and Biden was wrong for not doing it... And once he announced they were doing it..... You got pretty silent.

The US has done everything except put boots on the ground.... Remember when you swore that Biden was a war hawk? :umad:

Nobody is saying to put boots on the ground. But Biden is so scared of Putin that he won't even get Ukraine the jets they desperately need to continue limiting Russia's abilities in the air. Almost every day im reading a article from a retired military professional about how crucial the jets would be to Ukraine, which is also echoed by their military on the ground who continues to ask for them. But of course Biden somehow knows more than all of them put together. He just has no desire to stand up to bully and would rather continue with his half baked sanctions.
