Ooh it's coming.. But fair enough.

The DNC and its propaganda press have you so programmed that you're sending angry tweets to Elon?   If the lefty press hadn't been throwing a temper tantrum over losing control of Twitter,

Don't like it? Make your own Twitter (wait there's more)

are you to respond to what I said

or are you trying to get out of this, while pretending that you didn't look stupid in this entire process?

Its a simple question.

Do you walk up to a car salesmen........and say "yes I'll buy the car at the price you listed"

And do they immediately hand you the keys when you accept the offer?

Yes or No?

Can you answer that really, really simple question???????

Free speech won B)

Think they will fact check if the deal is done? :kaz:

:aitch:

So you're saying you know that the deal still isn't done?

Who knows if twitter will still fact check  false tweets once Musk finally acquires it.  It appears as if you are saying that you don't want that to happen anymore.

Watching them squirm and seethe today is just beautiful :hest:

Both of them even say it at the same time. You can clearly tell they just read some right-wing figure saying those same exact words, and they came here to repeat them.

Do they really feel so threatened by the fact that he might unban Trump and other conservatives to restore a degree of dignity and fairness to the platform? Its sad the lengths they'll go to inhibit free speech.

Oh look another overreaction from Twinblade that turned out to be overblown nonsense :umad:

It's called negotiations and assessing the offer to see if it was legitimate doofus.

A sale they agreed to instead of a hostile take over.

If you two clowns think blocking won't happen.

And if you think if someone breaks the TOS they won't be banned... Then you two are more retarded than I thought :drake:

So, Elon Musk said that he will be putting $21 billion of his own money, and the rest he will get loans from banks.

And, basically, everybody questioned how he was going to get $21 billion dollars of ACTUAL liquid cash, when most of his wealth is tied in his ownership of stocks, mostly Tesla stock.

So.......he basically caused Tesla stockholders to think that he's going to sell a whole bunch of Tesla stock, $21 BILLION DOLLARS WORTH.

Which effectively causes them to speculate that the Tesla is going to be devalued by so much of it being sold, so quickly.

Which effectively caused a "run" on selling Tesla stock today.

The stock lost 12.2% of its value.

Tesla shares sink, wipe out over $125 billion in value, as Musk scores Twitter deal

April 26, 20225:31 PM ET

Taking over Twitter may be good for Elon Musk, but it hasn't been good for Tesla's shares.

One day after Twitter announced it had accepted Musk's $44 billion takeover bid, Tesla shares sank 12.2%, wiping out more than $125 billion off the electric vehicle maker's market value.

The falls come as Wall Street fretted about how the deal could impact the electric vehicle maker and its stock price.

When Musk announced he had secured the money to finance the transaction, he said he would cover $21 billion himself, with banks helping finance the other half.

What remains unclear is how he will come up with that money — whether he will sell some of the Tesla shares he owns, borrow against them, bring in additional investors, or all three.

There is also growing concern about whether owning Twitter would bring him into conflict over free speech with the government in China, a key market for Tesla where the auto maker also has significant production.

On top of that, there is the risk Musk could become distracted by his latest acquisition.

Tesla stock has always been way overvalued, so it was already in a bit of a fragile place in which anything could potentially cause a tumble.

Also, I originally though that Elon was going to pay almost 3/4 of the cost on his own, but now it appears that's lowered down to roughly 1/2 on his own, and the rest he has to get from bank loans. Which means he may have to put up additional assets up as collateral for the loans, like more Tesla stock.

Doesn't help when a guy like Bill Gates is forcing the stock down by shorting it. Weird he would be doing that when he says he cares about climate yet shorts the number electric car company.

No, because Tesla really isn't going to have that good of a future as a car company.

They're really not a good car company, in general. Ford and General Motors will eventually eat their lunch when it comes to more efficient, and higher quality assembly lines.

Tesla automobile reviews still show them having trouble with aligning the panels on the car's body, still after all these years.

Did he say he was leaving Twitter in protest? I never mentioned King once, so please spare your clumsy dodge attempts.
